Aiden is the son of Melissa Barnhart, Project and Administration Compliance Manager for Hamel. Aiden is a graduate of Northeast High School in Pasadena, Maryland. Two of his favorite subjects were history and geography. Aiden's college of choice is Bridgewater University in Bridgewater, Virginia where he will study Business Administration. Aiden is excited about attending a small college where the classes have fewer students and are more conducive to learning.
Sports is a big part of the Barnhart Family and Aiden is making his mark as a defensive lineman for the Bridgewater Eagles football team where the team finished the season undefeated and won the ODAC Championship. His support from home creates the perfect atmosphere in which he can succeed both in the academic and athletic world.
Aiden says “The Ed and Fern Hamel Scholarship Fund is a wonderful program and he is very appreciative of the Hamel family for making it possible. This program will certainly help me with his future endeavors.”
