As a big thank you to all of their Subcontractors, the Hamel Builders of Washington team at Capitol Vista hosted a Topping Out party to celebrate the completion of the concrete structure for a new 12-story apartment building. The party, complete with Tennessee-style BBQ catering and a local DJ, included almost 300 people – Hamel, Owners, Architects, Engineers and every Subcontractor who had a hand in reaching this crucial milestone. While everyone ate, a slideshow presentation looped with progress photos and company logos of all who attended. Leading up to the party, the Hamel field team and Subcontractors had been working tirelessly to complete a mockup unit for visitors to see. The two-bedroom mockup unit was a beautiful preview of what is to come with Capitol Vista’s interior.
