Project Administrator (Entry Level) - Greenville, NC

Hamel Builders, Inc. is a well-established mid-Atlantic general contractor known for delivering complex, high-quality construction projects through strong leadership, collaboration, and disciplined execution. We are seeking a Project Administrator to support project teams and process compliance paperwork.

This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in organizational skills and prefers a team setting.


What You’ll Do

As a Project Administrator, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing all Project Administration paperwork for the Company and act as a liaison between the Company, Subcontractors and Agencies to meet all  Affirmative Action requirements. Key responsibilities include:

Project Administration:
•Supports one or more project teams.

•Performs word processing/ typing responsibilities – prepares, processes, and facilitates correspondence (letters, contracts, etc.).

•Coordinates incoming and outgoing project mail.

•Manages contracts for subcontractors/ suppliers – complete contract assembly from written material provided from the Project Executive or Project Manager.

•Processes project documents such as RFIs and Submittals.

•Coordinates drawings orders with printing company to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings.

•Prepares Joint Check Agreements.

•Updates and maintains shared drive and Procore documents.

•Coordinates the assembly of operations and maintenance manuals.

•Creates and maintains project filing system and permissions in project management software.

Qualifications

  • 0-1 years experience in an office setting

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Greenville, NC area prior to start date
